How to use Processed in your browser

Combine text transformations with a predictable order. Clean up whitespace, change case and organize lines. Your original input stays intact.

Formatting options 1 active

Choose one option in each group. Combine groups to format your text; they run in the numbered order.

1. Spaces on each line

Keeps line breaks and blank lines. To remove empty lines, use Line cleanup.

2. Spaces within lines

Reduces repeated spaces or tabs to one space. Keeps line breaks and blank lines.

3. Letter case

Capitalize words lowercases first:
hELLO wORLD → Hello World

4. Line cleanup

Remove blank lines deletes empty lines throughout the text, including a final empty line.

5. Line order

Remove spaces at both ends

Privacy & draft storage

Tool input and output stay in your browser. Neither is uploaded or saved by the toolkit.

  • Copy writes the result to your device’s clipboard. Save downloads a file to your device.
  • Switching tools or returning home keeps drafts in this tab’s memory.
  • Reloading or leaving the toolkit clears drafts. Nothing is saved to browser storage.

Clearing a tool does not erase a copy already on your clipboard or a file you saved. A dot beside a tool marks an edited draft.

How to use

Text formatter

  1. Paste plain text or open a local UTF-8 file.

  2. Select the transformations you need for whitespace, case or lines.

  3. Compare the output with your original, then copy or save it.

Combining transformations

Groups run in their numbered order, so combining options stays predictable. Your original input stays intact.

  • Reset options restores the defaults and keeps your source text.
  • Clear input removes the source and keeps your options.
Display versus content

Wrap lines, Text size and Find change how you read the editor. They do not change copied or downloaded text.

Tool limits: 500,000 UTF-16 code units of input and 1,000,000 of output. Input and output stay in your browser.
