How to use
Password generatorChoose a length from 8 to 128 characters. The default is 20 characters.
Select uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols to match the site's requirements. You can exclude look-alike characters.
Changing an option creates a new password. Use Regenerate password for another value, then Copy when you are ready to use it.
How are random passwords generated?
Passwords use your browser’s Web Crypto random source (opens in a new tab). Rejection sampling avoids modulo bias, and every selected character type appears in the result.
If cryptographic randomness is unavailable, generation stops. There is no weaker fallback.
Are passwords sent to a server or saved?
No upload and no saved history. The current password stays in this tab’s memory.

Which characters can I use?
Enable uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols independently to match the destination site’s requirements.
- Default: uppercase, lowercase and numbers. Symbols are optional and start unchecked.
- Quotes, backticks and backslashes are always excluded.
